David’s iconic and instantly recognisable soundtrack has been the musical identity of BBC Television News since 1999. David has created many different versions of the music, to accompany news programmes across the whole of the BBC's domestic and global television output. The One Show
The One Show is broadcast live on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One. David's theme has fronted the show since its launch in July 2007. The trumpet sound emerged from a conversation with the producer, who suggested the track "Would You..? as an example of something he really liked the sound of.
Countryfile is currently one of the most popular programmes on British Television, reporting on rural and environmental issues within the United Kingdom. This is the latest arrangement of the current theme. David has written several themes for the show, since it first aired in 1988.
Grand Designs has been on air since April 1999, and is in its eleventh series with David’s distinctive title music. It is among Channel 4’s most watched shows. The 100th Edition was broadcast in October 2012.
David’s theme has become popular for wedding couples, with several requests for it to accompany their walk down the aisle.

With original stories, exclusive interviews, audience debate and breaking news, Victoria Derbyshire presents the BBC's new daily news and current affairs. The show goes out on BBC Two and the BBC News Channel.
Composed by David and produced by CORD WW founding partner Elisa Harris, this theme for Santander UK's latest TVC was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. The ad, which is airing in 90" and 30" versions, features the Santander brand ambassadors Jessica Ennis, Rory McIlroy and Jenson Button.
David's arrangement with Bella Saer of the famous Panorama theme written by Francis Lai and called "Aujourd'hui C'est Toi"
The Great Interior Design Challenge
A 12 part series in which amateur designers compete to be the best British Interior Designer. The series travels across the country, to introduce a new street and house design in each episode so viewers can learn about their history and how they have affected the architecture of the homes there.
David's new theme for BBC Parliament 2017
David worked to create a theme that was recognizable and upbeat, that could brand the Bloomberg TV network. The goal was to compose something unique and instantly recognizable with a core theme that could be used in any number of different ways spread across the network.
Barclays Premier League
This is the new anthem for the Barclays Premier League co written jointly by Simon Darlow, Martin Brammer and David. From August 2013 It accompanies the Premier's live television programming broadcast globally, and is also played before each league match as the players shake hands on the pitch.
BBC Olympic Breakfast 2016
A special mix of the BBC Breakfast theme with a Brazilian twist, for the 2016 Olympics from Rio. Graphics are by James Mobbs and the BBC Manchester team
Euronews / Lambie Nairn
The 2016 rebrand from International News Channel Euronews, designed to reflect its more modern outlook across its regions.
The visuals were crearted by Lambie Nairn who worked closely with David and his co-writer on the project Sam Worskett.

David worked with Brand Energies to create original music for CCTV's Business Review
Special music was composed for Bloomberg's coverage of The World Economic Forum in Davos.
As part of Bloomberg's on-air rebrand, new music was also composed for Studio 1.0 with Emily Chang. The score fits beautifully within the Bloomberg family score, but manages to retain its own unique identity.
Newsday is the BBC's flagship breakfast show for Asia airing on BBC World News. It is co-anchored live from Singapore and London. David created a theme for the show's relaunch in August, 2015.
