Hi, hope you enjoy the latest editions to the site - Ray Mear's Northern Wilderness is going out currently on BBC2, with a new orchestral arrangement of the Original World Of Survival Music. You can listen to it in TV Projects. I'm working on the new drama series "Missing" which will go out next year in the spring, and I've just finished some Radio idents for the BBC Arabic Service, and TV for BBC South East which you can hear in the Members Area - there are now just about 7000 of you out there! - so thanks for all your support and enthusiasm for my work.

Across the globe I've just completed my first commissions for China Central T.V, thanks to the wonders of the internet and email. The tracks were for the annual English Speaking Contest, a major event for the channel. Have a listen in TV Projects. Hopefully more music in China to follow.

There's been a flurry of interest recently in the BBC News Theme. I was interviewed about it on Newswatch last weekend on the BBC News Channel, You can see that in the members area. Prior to that I was in Amsterdam for a few days, meeting my dutch counterpart Stephen Emmer, who's done all the news music for Dutch Television. I was speaking at a symposium he organised on television and radio music, which was a lot of fun.
